UPDATE NEEDED!

Alrighty... since Ellie is now 22 weeks old, and I haven't blogged since I was 25 weeks pregnant with her, I would say that we are in desperate need of an update!

I supposed I'll start where I always do, right where I left off.

Christmas went amazingly! Greg's entire family was able to be together for Christmas this year, which his mother said has not happened in about 15-20 Years! In light of this blessed event we took the opportunity to have family pictures taken!

Grandpa and Grandma with all the Grandchildren -1, and Ellie of course!
Right after we finished taking pictures I got in the car and drove to Washington for my sister's wedding! Seriously, we left the studio I got in the car and left.

On January 3, 2013 my sister Alicia and her Husband Kevin were married in the Spokane Washington LDS temple. The ceremony was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to see the family again!

After the Wedding Greg and I hurried home to get ready for Greg to start back at school! Shortly after returning to school Greg stopped working for Ashley Construction and spent the month of January just being a student. In February he started working at Riverton Music as a piano mover and he is still working their today!
I continued to work for Fantastic Sams until our sweet Miss Ellie May was born at the end of March 2013.

On Monday March 25, 2013 I had my last check up where the Doctor said I was 3cm dilated and then  decided that we should induce labor the following morning. Hearing this my mom, who was visiting for our baby's arrival, and I were frantically trying to get every single possible thing that might need doing before the baby came done! Well, it turns out that with all of the craziness, I went into labor all on my own! At 12am I "woke up", I was trying to sleep but it wasn't working, I had a contraction that I could not ignore. I got out of bed walked down the hall, and then it went away and so I got back in bed. At 12:10am it happened again. And again at 12:15am and then again at 12:20am. At this point I decided that I would take a shower and see if my contractions were still coming or not. I got into the shower and I didn't feel like I'd been in there very long when I had another contraction, and then another, and then another. At this point I got out of the shower because I was worried that If I slipped or fell that Greg was in such a deep sleep he wouldn't hear me calling for him. By the time I got out of the shower my contractions were 4 minutes apart and getting stronger and longer with each one. Typical labor. I went in to let Greg know that I was in labor, and then went in to let my mom know. We quickly decided that with my contractions going how they were and with me having been as dilated as I was at the doctors office that we should probably head into the hospital. We got to the hospital around 1:30am where the determined that I was now 4cm dilated! To make a long story short, I labored until 6:45am when the nurse checked me agian and said I was 9cm! She then told me "we will probably have a baby in about hour", to which I responded "I don't think it's going to be an hour." She left the room to call the doctor. He came walking in the room at 7am and Miss Ellie May Burns was born with only 3 pushes at 7:08am Tuesday March 26, 2013 weighing 5lb 15oz and 18.5in long!

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful and beautiful baby girl!

Ellie was blessed on Sunday April 7, 2013 and what a beautiful blessing it was! I would love to say that the entire room was in tears, but that's not quite accurate. However Greg and I were both in tears! All of our parents and siblings, except for Kate and her family who live in New York, were able to make it and we loved having them!
All dressed up in mommies old Blessing Dress!

In July 2013 Ellie got to meet Great Great Grandma Zola! She is my Fathers Grandmother and We had so much fun at lunch with her! Even though we are missing my Grandpa and my Dad this is a 5 generation picture!

Miss Ellie is growing big and Strong! She is now 5 months old and loves the talk and babble! She rolls from front to back and back to front, and has discovered that rolling = transportation! She sits some with out support and is just such a happy baby!

Greg is still working moving pianos and going to school majoring in Accounting. If all goes as planned he will be done with his BA in 2 years! Ellie and I are so proud of him! He's a wonderful Daddy and the greatest Husband! Greg and Ellie love their play time, they talk and giggle all morning long, its my FAVORITE sound to wake up to!

I am a lucky woman, I get to stay home and be a Mommy to the most wonderful baby girl in the world and a wife to Her amazing Daddy!

All in all we are doing great and couldn't be a happier family!
